About the role
- As a Section Manager in the Paint Shop play a key role in ensuring that the components meet perfect quality standards through meticulous preparation, processing, and component quality assurance.
- You are accountable for production volume, quality, and cost performance.
- You ensure all processes follow legal and internal standards, including safety, environmental protection, cleanliness, and ergonomics.
- You support root-cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.
- You help resolve equipment issues, process deviations, and quality concerns.
- You coordinate special activities such as weekend work and shutdowns, and take part in planning technical changes, new equipment, and process optimizations.
- You promote the use of real-time data to improve transparency and support informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Education − Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Technical Chemistry, or similar.
- Experience in coating-related production is an advantage.
- Experience − minimum 5 years of experience in industrial production or similar positions in the Automotive Industry, specifically in the production area, Paint Shop, or other highly automated production areas.
- Skills − strong communication , teamwork , leadership , and problem - solving skills.
- Languages – Hungarian and English proficiency required; German is an advantage.
- Mobility − willingness to travel and occasionally participate in an international BMW training program.
