About the role
- The Gen>NEXTer will be a part of the Technical Planning/Engineering team.
- Work alongside the team members in different projects and areas during this rotation.
- Support existing vehicle Production processes as well as new model industrialization.
- Concept and Development of process layouts, equipment and tooling design, and process steps.
- Participate in Design reviews of new model tooling.
- Process evaluation for overall Production output – cycle time and availability.
- Project management and supplier management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Major: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
- Willingness to learn
- Team player mindset.
- Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward.
- Good Communication skills.
- Problem Solving / Analytical skills.
- Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- MS Office knowledge required.
- Basic CAD knowledge (preferred Catia).
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
