About the role

  • Connect the network with integrated supply chain solutions to safeguard production.
  • Ensure parts supply at the right time, right place, quantity, and quality.
  • Address areas of uncertainty for material control (forecast errors, yield losses, timing of demand/supply).
  • Find alternatives to carrying safety stock.
  • Develop concepts/IT solutions to support daily tasks.
  • Create and maintain visualization tools, material planning dashboard.
  • Optimize processes for material availability for production and customer delivery.
  • Define the lowest possible level of inventory.
  • Support process mapping of the business and document standard processes.
  • Use resources to support overall planning activities.
  • Ability to lead team meetings and give presentations.

Requirements

  • Completed (or in the process of receiving) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
