About the role

  • You will support a cross-functional, internationally operating and motivated team based in Munich, with a hybrid work setup.
  • Gain insight into the processes and IT systems of the BMW Group and into international collaboration with teams at the BMW Group IT hub in South Africa.
  • Contribute to the company-wide development of the Digital Twin for the BMW Group.
  • Support analysis and optimization of interfaces to other digitization projects.
  • Help design internal meetings and workshops.
  • Organize a one-week on-site placement at a production line, if interested.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in (Business) Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Strong willingness to learn and engage with complex and dynamic subject areas.
  • Affinity for digitalization and vehicle technology.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Initial experience in Machine Learning is desirable.
  • Experience with agile methods and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
  • Good German and English skills.
