About the role
- Assisting TX-211 with the daily operations of managing Controls initiatives.
- Driving continual improvement of PLC related topics within the Body Shop.
- Learning how to write, read and change PLC code to support continuous improvement projects.
- Changing PLC code to support SAS revision rollout and cleanup of faults generated by the new SAS revision.
- TIA training.
- Learning HMI layout and uses.
- Review SAS and EPLAN and make changes to eliminate faults.
- Interaction with Maintenance Associates and Management.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering or Computer Science background
- Basic Electrical trouble shooting skill
- Knowledge of PLC coding
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Problem Solving skills
- Ability to train others
- Project leadership skills
- Presentation Skills
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
