About the role

  • Encourage cooperation and alignment between business functions and IT Teams with project management elements
  • Identification, specification and implementation of process changes in the business collaboration
  • Focus on bringing continuous improvement within the department of roughly 80 IT specialists according to agile principles (or lean management)
  • Support for project planning, steering, and coordination
  • Run own small projects including documentation, evaluating, problem solving, and reporting
  • Help identify, design, and implement internal process improvements (agile/lean)
  • Create presentations and communication documents using Corporate Identity standards
  • Support with major project spanning over the whole plant (Inbound Strategy and Vehicle Launch projects)
  • Own smaller projects (depending on applicants’ preference and availability)
  • Perform tasks related to the agile transformation roadmap

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or similar field
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical mind that is open to innovative ideas
  • Ideally with some IT background
  • German skills are advantageous
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
  • Able to complete 3 work terms for Co-op positions
  • Able to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
