About the role

  • Work on a diverse range of exciting projects, in support of a wide range of Australian and regional maritime programs
  • Perform specialist design and engineering in the integration of combat management systems, communications, weapons and sensor systems on naval vessels
  • Provide Combat Systems/C4I engineering support and guidance within whole of ship teams
  • Undertake Engineering projects from investigations through design concepts and implementation
  • Represent the company on a professional and technical basis with Defence/Navy clients

Requirements

  • A relevant Engineering degree (such as Computer Systems, Electronics or Communications)
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Well-developed problem diagnosis and solving skills
  • Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • The motivation and drive to develop your technical capabilities in a multi-discipline engineering environment
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for an Australian Defence Security Clearance
