About the role
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients and prospects across Western Canada.
- Provide ongoing relationship management including investment updates, portfolio reviews, and client education sessions.
- Support client onboarding and ensure a high standard of ongoing service.
- Engage respectfully with Indigenous communities and organizations to understand priorities and values.
- Identify and pursue new institutional opportunities across Western Canada.
- Participate in business development initiatives including client meetings and presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investment consultants and other professional advisors.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- CFA Charterholder or CIM designation preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) licensing.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in institutional asset management, institutional business development, or investment advisory.
- Strong understanding of institutional investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
- Experience working with institutional investors such as pension plans, foundations, and family offices is an asset.
