About the role

  • Gain data-driven insights and provide recommendations on regulatory capital, risk/return assessments, and stress testing
  • Collaborate with Risk Methodology teams in development and enhancements of risk models relevant to Corporate Banking
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support bankers with methodology related questions on deal profitability and capital
  • Perform data analytics using a variety of data sources and applications/scripts
  • Connect risk considerations with business opportunities to drive profitability

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in risk management or capital management
  • Post-secondary degree in a quantitative field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of capital frameworks and/or risk model development/validation
  • Experience with data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets such as SQL, SAS, Excel VBA, R, Python, MATLAB
  • Exhibit strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and curiosity
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines
  • Communicate effectively with in-depth verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth data-driven decision-making skills
