About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of governance processes and controls
- Oversee model intake, approval, periodic reviews, ongoing monitoring, and decommissioning
- Develop and deliver enterprise-wide training programs to enhance model risk awareness
- Engage stakeholders to drive alignment on governance requirements
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of model risk regulatory guidance (e.g., SR 11-7, OSFI E-23)
- Experience designing and enforcing governance controls, processes, or oversight programs
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
