Assess business strategy in connection with the value of data at scale
Articulate information strategies that meet business objectives
Design and apply methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern all data assets
Perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps
Act as integration point for triaging business requests and managing demand for data support
Work with stakeholders to understand business opportunities and translate those into a clear, actionable data strategy
Identify and recommend solutions to issues in data policies, usage, quality, and metrics
Address data security risks and compliance requirements for an assigned portfolio
Identify and introduce new data sources ranging from standard market data to unstructured and alternative data

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
Seven years of experience as a Consultant, Business Analyst or related occupation utilizing data and analytics applications
Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and five years of experience
Utilizing Informatica, Datameer, AWS Glue, PowerBI, Dataiku, AWS Sagemaker, Neo4j, and UIPath
Conducting data analytics (including ELT) and supporting data science and data management projects
Participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to implement data and analytics applications
Requires 5% international travel to Canada
