About the role

  • Serve as the customers’ relationship manager providing personalized attention
  • Acts as the primary client contact to uncover financial needs
  • Works collaboratively within the market, BMO partners, and the community
  • Uses a consultative sales process to develop strong customer relationships
  • Proactively works with assigned customer portfolio to uncover needs
  • Makes key recommendations on products, pricing, and services
  • Achieves results and meets sales targets
  • Executes quality customer review meetings for retention and relationship expansion purposes
  • Participates in the community to identify prospects and centers of influence
  • Provides individual and group training to mentor and coach branch personnel

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a financial services organization
  • Required: SIE Exam, Series 6, Series 63, Life & Health licenses
  • Advanced understanding of deposit, loan (including mortgage) and banking products and practices
  • Excellent understanding of brokerage and insurance products
  • Excellent knowledge of business services, including retirement plans, business banking solutions, insurance, and succession planning
  • Excellent understanding of personal trust and investment management
  • In-depth knowledge of client portfolio management
  • Technical proficiency
