About the role
- Drive enterprise-wide initiatives for credit risk transformation
- Collaborate with Technology, Risk, and business leaders
- Interpret regulations and modernize systems
- Write, publish and maintain Risk policy documentation
- Build interdependent teams and foster a culture aligned to BMO purposes and values
- Develop and implement multi-year strategy including governance and program design
- Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
Requirements
- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expert knowledge of risk management, audit, compliance, and governance policy management
- Expert knowledge of business and regulatory environment
