About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve the customer segmentation strategy and value proposition, ensuring:
- Competitive differentiation by segment;
- Revenue and profitability growth;
- Improvement of experience and retention;
- Increased share of wallet and cross-sell;
- Coherence between strategy, journey and execution.
- Define the segmentation model (value, behavior, need, risk, potential).
- Structure customer clusters based on transactional, behavioral and psychographic data.
- Evolve segmentation from static models to dynamic and predictive models.
- Define segment prioritization criteria (value, growth, risk, cost-to-serve).
- Define specific value propositions for each segment.
- Translate customer needs into offers, services and experiences.
- Ensure alignment between value proposition, product portfolio and communications.
- Structure clear differentiation between segments (e.g.: investor, borrower, delinquent, digital, premium).
- Define cross-sell, up-sell and retention strategies by segment.
- Prioritize initiatives based on ROI and customer impact.
- Work closely with growth, marketing and product teams.
- Monitor customer value metrics (LTV, CAC, churn, NPS, share of wallet).
- Establish segmentation governance within the organization.
- Define roles and responsibilities across teams (segments, CRM, marketing, channels, products).
- Create executive rituals to track performance by segment.
- Ensure consistency of the strategy across the organization.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Act as a bridge between strategy and execution.
- Influence senior stakeholders (executive board, board of directors, technology, risk, commercial).
- Build a data-driven and customer-centric culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Solid experience in customer strategy, segmentation, CRM, marketing, growth or CX.
- Experience in large or digital companies (banks, retail, tech, platforms).
- Experience in digital transformation and data-driven models.
- Experience with products, channels and journeys.
- Advanced customer segmentation (clusters, personas, cohorts).
- Analytics and data intelligence.
- Journey design and service design.
- Product strategy and value proposition.
- Omnichannel and CRM.
- Knowledge of digital business models.
- Strategic and systemic thinking.
- Strong analytical skills.
