About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with large volumes of data, structuring and analyzing information to solve complex business problems;
  • Conduct analytical studies to identify causes of delinquency, churn and loss of profitability, proposing data-driven solutions with direct impact on results;
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and improve recovery, combining exploratory analyses, predictive models and action plans (quick wins and structural initiatives);
  • Analyze customer behavior and key drivers of loss, proposing retention solutions and optimization of collections offers;
  • Develop, validate, implement and monitor statistical and machine learning models (e.g., propensity, risk, recovery), ensuring continuous performance tracking;
  • Act on multidisciplinary projects, connecting data, technology and business;
  • Present insights clearly and coherently, using data visualization and storytelling without sacrificing technical rigor;
  • Serve as the team's primary technical reference, influencing strategic decisions and promoting an analytical culture;
  • Develop a deep understanding of credit and collections products to translate business challenges into scalable solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in quantitative fields (such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or related) and strong experience in applying data analysis to business;
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages (such as SQL and Python) and experience working with large datasets;
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, good interpersonal relationships, proactivity, flexibility, critical thinking and a sense of urgency;
  • Ability to translate complex results into clear, simple diagnoses, with storytelling skills to explain concepts objectively and concisely;
  • Knowledge of statistics and predictive modeling;
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strong results orientation and focus on business impact.
  • **Differentials:**
  • Experience in credit, collections or modeling within financial institutions;
  • Knowledge of Resolution 4.966;
  • Knowledge and experience using generative AI tools (e.g., GPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) applied to data analysis, automation of analytical tasks and insight generation.
