About the role
- Implement guidelines and methodologies that reflect market best practices.
- Manage AML/CFT risks, focusing on identifying, assessing, measuring and addressing suspicious operations.
- Address technical deficiencies in AML/CFT processes and forward corrective actions to the appropriate areas.
- Monitor and evaluate the AML/CFT framework, reporting to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT policies, promoting awareness and control measures at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Legislation and Regulatory Standards: Deep knowledge of Central Bank Circular 3,978/2020, Law 9,613/1998 and its updates, and international guidelines such as the FATF (Financial Action Task Force).
- KYC, KYP and KYS Processes: "Know Your Customer", "Know Your Partner" and "Know Your Supplier" are fundamental pillars for risk analysis and counterparty acceptance.
- Reputational and Operational Risk Analysis: Ability to assess risk profiles using public and private data, including adverse media and sanctions/watchlists.
- Due Diligence and Continuous Monitoring: Capability to perform initial and ongoing due diligence on clients, partners and suppliers, with an AML/CFT focus.
- Familiarity with technology solutions such as e-Guardian, KNOW-N1, CLIP LAUNDERING, CHECKPEP, Orquestra and SoftExpert.
- Certifications and Training: PQO B3 certification, internal trainings and refresher courses in AML/CFT.
