About the role

  • Work with large datasets and solve complex data analysis problems;
  • Develop, validate, implement and monitor statistical solutions such as algorithms, AI, and Machine Learning, among others;
  • Conduct studies to understand the root causes of key business issues and propose data-driven solutions aimed at the profitability and effectiveness of the Collections area;
  • Present results using data visualization and storytelling techniques in an understandable way without sacrificing scientific rigor;
  • Serve as a reference in the data science area for modeling and knowledge of financial products.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with strong programming skills and mastery of statistical modeling techniques for developing and monitoring solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and Python, with experience in data science and machine learning tools, frameworks and platforms such as Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Plotly, Dash, Matplotlib and similar;
  • Ability to translate complex results into compelling storytelling, explaining concepts clearly, objectively and concisely;
  • Analytical thinking, good communication, strong interpersonal skills, proactivity, flexibility, critical thinking and a sense of urgency;
  • Bachelor's degree completed (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics or related fields);
  • Knowledge of collections/credit and of Resolution 4966 will be a differential;
  • Availability to work on a hybrid model, being in our São Paulo office on Av. Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek twice a week.
