About the role
- Owning long-form YouTube golf videos from concept to publish
- Planning and shooting content independently when required (camera, audio, logistics)
- Editing long-form videos typically 20 to 60+ minutes
- Crafting strong intros, act breaks, and endings to improve retention
- Shaping storylines from large volumes of raw footage
- Cutting high-performing YouTube Shorts from long-form episodes
- Applying pacing, humour, and emotional emphasis to maximise watch time
Requirements
- A strong portfolio of YouTube-specific long-form work
- Advanced editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar)
- Hands-on shooting experience and comfort running audio solo
- Deep familiarity with YouTube golf and its creators
- Strong instincts for pacing, storytelling, and personality-led content
- A genuine obsession with golf (playing experience strongly preferred)
- Experience with, or interest in learning, AI tools or programming environments such as Claude Code is a bonus
