Provide strategic leadership and direction related to Human Capital Management across a multi-state platform.
Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning initiatives and serve as part of the Executive Leadership Team; report to the CEO.
Drive culture building and create proactive HR initiatives to foster a positive work environment across BlueSprig.
Oversee a team of HR employees and lead day-to-day management of onboarding experience, benefit programs, policies, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, training, professional development, people data management, HRIS, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations in a multi-state environment (especially California) and coordinate equal opportunity/diversity programs.
Lead selection and administration of benefit programs and development of compensation plans, salary calibration, COLA, bonus structures, and variable compensation programs.
Develop learning & development tools and change leadership programs; assist field teams with staff development.
Implement employee onboarding processes and manage integration of acquired businesses into BlueSprig’s HR systems, processes, and culture.
Recommend, participate in selection, and evaluate a comprehensive HRIS tool to effectively manage 4,000+ employees.
Provide leadership on policies, programs, and technology-driven HR administrative functions; manage HR budgets and conduct cost/productivity analysis.
Act as advisor to executive and functional leaders on staffing, selection, development, compensation, performance issues, and employee relations.
Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHR or SHRM-CP required.
SPHR or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
Multi-state HR experience with a strong emphasis in California.
Proven track record of growth and scalability of operations; experience scaling HR functions.
Experience with HRIS selection, implementation, and management for large employee populations (4,000+ employees).
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations; compliance expertise.
Experience with onboarding, credentialing, background screening, and licensing processes.
Experience in learning & development, change leadership, training, and professional development programs.
Leadership experience selecting, developing, and managing HR teams.
Experience with workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and reporting.
Ability to pass background checks (criminal history and driving record) and meet Motor Vehicle policy requirements; reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 25%.
