About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage existing customer accounts and support regional sales efforts
  • Facilitate and communicate special pricing support and product information
  • Implement strategies to improve financial results
  • Conduct customer training and development programs
  • Engage vendors, estimators, and service groups to support Builder success
  • Develop a high-performance customer/Builder organization focused on product, market share, and sales goals within an assigned territory
  • Review customer competencies, determine training needs, and implement programs covering sales, products, software, pricing, and procedures
  • Execute customer training and information programs to develop customer skills and promote the Butler difference
  • Maintain customer relationships through regular contact, design and product selection assistance, customer service, and collaboration on solutions
  • Support Area Managers with timely customer information and optimal solutions
  • Participate in customer meetings and project development with select clients
  • Participate in regional review of quote requests and coordinate pricing and design recommendations
  • Assist customers/Builders as the technical expert for building optimization and pricing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Basic understanding of the construction industry preferred
  • Ability to read construction drawings preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PC-based applications preferred
