Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert health and safety leadership across the BCP business
Partner with the North America regional Environmental leadership
Influence behavior at all levels of the organization
Ensure compliance with legislative and BlueScope Corporate requirements
Drive continuous improvement of the health and safety culture across BCP
Develop and implement leadership, behavioral, and engagement initiatives to deliver improved health and safety performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental Science, or related field
10+ years of experience as HSE Professional.
5+ years of leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience in building an effective HSE Program.
Demonstrated success in improving health and safety performance in a complex organization.
Demonstrated success in improving health and safety culture including safety leadership, behaviors, and engagement.
Ability to travel across BCP locations (~50%)
