About the role
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment execution
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including customer billing, payment application, and collections follow-up
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Conduct basic financial analysis to support reporting and decision-making
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) to analyze and organize financial data
- Assist with data analysis projects to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
Requirements
- A few years of professional accounting experience in AP/AR or a related role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid data analysis capabilities and an analytical mindset
- Knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus
