Financial Planning and Analysis

• Conduct market research, screen potential targets, and analyse potential investments, including financial analysis, structuring, and valuation modelling
• Develop a thorough understanding of our markets and generate deal ideas in collaboration with the private equity team
• Assist senior team members in due diligence, including financial analysis and financial modelling
• Support the preparation of investment memos for the Investment Committee
• Assist with portfolio management, including driving value creation efforts, reporting, and identifying exit opportunities

• Provide compliance advice and support to the Business and Management in compliance related matters, in particular on regulatory and Compliance developments and trends applicable to Swiss and cross-border Asset Management activities.
• Review marketing materials and communications for compliance considerations.
• Conduct, maintain and develop the BlueOrchard Compliance program.
• Advise on policies and procedures and assist business stakeholders addressing various Corporate Compliance requests.
• Supporting the implementation of issues identified in external and internal audits, Compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
• Support reporting to relevant regulators, the BlueOrchard Board, and Schroders Group Compliance.

Legal and Compliance Officer

• Contribute to regular monthly, quarterly and annual investor reporting including business planning and strategic annual reviews of fund performance in coordination with other teams.
• Play a leading role in preparing Boards, Advisory Committees and other strategic due diligence investors’ meetings to present fund results and fund performance.
• Be responsible for slide preparation, coordination of inputs across teams, follow-up on action points, minutes and other required tasks after the respective meetings.
• Contribute to team activities related to tenders for new funds by preparing bidding documents, impact thesis and KPIs, as well as strategic business planning in coordination with other teams.
• Responsible for supporting other team members in coordinating TA facilities linked to existing funds under management.
• Contribution to studies and publications to position BO as a thought leader in the impact investing space.
