About the role

  • Develop and maintain Laravel backend and React (or other frontend) applications for clients.
  • Work on a variety of client projects, delivering high-quality, production-ready software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry professionals.
  • Use modern technologies and testing tools to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to project estimates, processes, and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Participate in continuous learning, training, and professional development.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically with Laravel 8 and above.
  • Experience with: Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
  • Experience with testing tools, such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful API in Laravel.
  • Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with Bluelight's clients' goals and dedicate yourself to delivering on commitments.
  • Positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
