About the role

  • Develop high-quality web applications using Laravel (backend) and React/Vue/Livewire (frontend) for clients.
  • Work on a variety of client projects, delivering features, fixes, and improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry professionals to design and implement solutions.
  • Use testing tools (Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright) to ensure code quality.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and work with Inertia.js where applicable.
  • Participate in estimates, take ownership of deliverables, and meet team commitments.
  • Contribute to continuous learning, training, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically with Laravel 8 and above.
  • Experience with: Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
  • Experience with testing tools, such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful API in Laravel.
  • Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with Bluelight's clients' goals and dedicate yourself to delivering on commitments.
  • Positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
