  • We are seeking a full-time NOC Technician to join our Network Operations Centre in Waterford, Ireland. We are looking for a tech-savvy individual who is customer-focused and can work on a rotating shift schedule during weekdays. The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while remaining calm and focused. The primary responsibilities include monitoring and supporting incoming and outgoing alerts, proactively overseeing Bluefin’s network infrastructure and systems, and serving as a live point-of-contact for operational issues. You will also be involved in analysing, monitoring, and coordinating the restoration of failed production services. This is an on-site role based in the Waterford office.
  • Work Schedule: The full-time role will be for 32 - 40 hours on weekdays. Core rotating shift hours are:
  • Shift 1: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
  • Shift 2: Monday - Thursday 20:00 - 04:00
  • Shift 3: Monday – Friday 16:00 - 00:00
  • Shift 4: Tuesday - Friday 00:00 - 08:00
  • Shift 5: Monday - Friday 12:00 - 20:00
  • The work schedule is subject to change based on operational needs and business demands. Flexibility in adjusting to different shift patterns, including potential weekend or holiday coverage, may be required as the needs of the business evolve.

Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate required
  • Third Level qualification, preferred in a technical discipline
  • Able to work rotating shifts
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, switching, and routing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and research skills
  • Windows and MAC experience
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Zendesk would be considered advantageous
  • Strong orientation toward assisting others
