About the role
- Responds accurately, timely, and courteously to customer inquiries
- Handles non-routine inquiries requiring research
- Reviews and adjudicates claims and appeals
- Determines claim outcomes following policies
- Ensures claims are processed according to established standards
- Identifies and reports potential fraud
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience including 1 year of claims or appeals processing experience OR Bachelor's Degree in lieu of work experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Good spelling, punctuation and grammar skills
- Basic business math proficiency
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion
- Microsoft office proficiency
