- Independently and objectively plans and executes audits
- Performs or supports audits focused on operational controls
- Functions as in-charge auditor of complex audit reviews
- Identifies and analyzes key processes, systems, and controls
- Communicates audit status and results to management
- Prepares formal written work papers and reports
- Assesses desk reviews performed by subordinate auditors
- Coordinates completion of assignments
Requirements
- Bachelor's in a job related field
- 7 years auditing or accounting experience with one year leading audits
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of auditing
- Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of financial data
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cost accounting standards and General Accepted Accounting Principles
- Knowledge and use of auditing standards and statistical sampling techniques
- Microsoft Office proficiency
