About the role

  • Analyze and assess CVE reports; recommend mitigations, workarounds, and remediation steps
  • Support ongoing governance and compliance
  • Contribute to the security hardening of BlueCat products
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams
  • Support product penetration testing by maintaining target systems

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems
  • Ability to understand code in languages such as Java or C is required
  • Understanding of software architectures, data-flows, and data-protection principles
  • Strong understanding of software development practices
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python)
  • Excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical
  • Solid understanding of IP networking and protocols (e.g., IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with higher-layer protocols and security architectures (e.g., TLS, SSH)
  • Knowledge of compliance domains such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR
