About the role
- Understanding and /or creating architecture design diagrams
- Leveraging open source and open standards to deliver new service with minimal coding
- Creating a new dynamic service for Network Observability
- Implementing effective security protocols and data protection measures
- Implementing automated testing harness to fully exercise new service
- Coordinating with internal teams to train and support new technical solution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge and history of leverage open source and open technology
- Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and gRPC strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Golang and REST API integration experience using any framework
- Nice to Have:
- SNMP, Netflow, API
- OpenTelemetry
- Linux
- Java, Python
