About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Blue Yonder WMS solution expert for transformational projects and programs
Contribute to change management for global or regional program implementations
Assist with project planning and lead customer communication
Facilitate business process mapping and process discussions
Advise customers on industry best practices and process methodology
Assess business needs, integration complexity, and architecture constraints
Design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens
Lead preparation of product requirement specifications and test plans
Coordinate with Development Services on modification development, quality delivery, and customer demonstrations
Create and modify procedural and system documentation
Support development and execution of test scripts
Provide level 3 non-technical support during go-live and level 3 user support
Conduct functional analysis sessions and develop technical solutions
Provide functional support including quality assurance, design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, troubleshooting, system testing, and programming
Deliver product implementations and related integrations
Work on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, and custom projects at customer sites or offshore
Design and develop platform workflows/user interfaces, integration scripts, ETL mappings, data models, and data loading
Provide internal training and implementation support
Ensure knowledge transfer to key customer project teams
Communicate customer-specific business cases and product needs to Product Management and Product Development
Liaise with Product Management and Product Development regarding releases and functionality
Provide guidance to Support Services on base technical issues
Work with relevant parties to resolve issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of corporate experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline
Expertise in technical configuration of WMS products, solution integration, quality assurance, system testing, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and performance tuning
Hands-on experience configuring WMS products, preferably Blue Yonder/RedPrairie WMS
Experience with Jasper Reports, NiceLabel, PageBuilder, and MOCA
Knowledge of interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems
Knowledge of integration between WMS and voice, material handling, and ASRS systems
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
In-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, and applications
Strong customer, partner, and consultant relationship management
Ability to communicate, present, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, effectively, and proactively
Teamwork mentality
Ability to develop and maintain practice aids, databases, and best-practice collateral
Compliance with company project methodology and time, travel, and expense procedures
Knowledge of Azure fundamentals
Understanding of product technical requirements, database structures, technical platforms, infrastructures, and the Blue Yonder product suite
