Collaborate with software development and architecture teams to deploy and manage infrastructural systems and applications
Lead initiatives to automate and optimize operations and processes, reducing manual interventions and improving efficiency
Develop, maintain, and enhance tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, testing, and production environments
Mentor and support the growth of junior DevOps engineers
Coordinate and guide release activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and smooth deployment processes
Produce detailed reports and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Partner with Performance Engineering and Documentation teams to enhance the installation and customer experiences
Stay current with the latest industry trends in agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 10+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or related fields, with a demonstrable track record of success
Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
