About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support various BY Planning solutions
Analyze and debug customer issues
Work with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Consulting, and Cloud Services
Provide technical support during the steady-state period
Provide primary user support and verify that systems provide required business functions and maintain data integrity
Respond to systems alerts during on-call periods, including possible 24x7/weekend coverage
Advise customers on industry best practices and process methodology
Understand and configure BY solutions to better facilitate client business processes
Enhance or change designs based on new customer business requirements
Identify root causes and find permanent solutions to problems
Address incidents and requests related to the BY solution suite
Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and operational best practices
Provide value through innovation and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and experience in SC domain
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
4-5 years of IT experience, with 2-3 years in Supply chain products
Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
Basic understanding of BY data workflow
Installation of BY products
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
Basic understanding of customer business and process
Relevant experience on BY SCPO and Manufacturing Planning suite of products
Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Data structure
NextGen skills like AppDynamics, Splunk, MuleSoft, Python, AI/ML, Azure is a plus
Understanding of how BY solutions can be configured to facilitate client business processes
Hands-on expertise in debugging/analyzing code in programming languages such as Java
Strong analytical/problem solving skills, root cause analysis, testing skills, and ability to provide alternatives and thoughtful proposals
