About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and code automated test equipment software to support formal and informal verification of avionics requirements (qualification and acceptance testing)
- Participate in the requirements, design, and architecture
- Develop software for various prototype objectives
- Integrate software models, sensor drivers, and hardware emulators
- Support the integration of flight avionics, operator consoles, and test equipment to verify the requirements and performance of the flight software
- Support problem investigation and resolution
- Establish and follow software development processes to ensure test equipment software is reliable, released and configuration managed
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency troubleshooting analog and digital hardware with bench measurement equipment and data acquisition equipment
- Experience with Linux and other Unix-style operating systems
- Proficiency with Devops tools such as Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Proficiency with higher-level programming languages such as Python or C/C++
- Strong software development skills and debugging
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
