About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and articulate a clear software product vision and strategy that aligns with both customer needs and Blue Origin’s mission.
- Apply domain expertise in manufacturing and engineering configuration management to develop strong empathy with internal customers, and represent their voice throughout the product lifecycle.
- Own the software roadmap, making data-driven decisions to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Define, monitor, and report on key metrics to measure product success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of product management, software development, or hardware engineering experience
- Proven track record of managing products through their entire lifecycle from conception to launch and scale
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to independently handle data retrieval using SQL
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
