About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform design and maintenance of structural product definition by preparing design layouts and drawings
Coordinate fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new or modified systems at any Blue Origin site
Build models and drawings of designs
Provide guidance on schedule and technical requirements to internal customers
Apply company and industry techniques to plan, lay-out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry
Proficiency in design and integration using Creo Parametric
Proficiency in drawing generation, checking, and release processes
Experience in Windchill
Proficiency in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5)
Experience selecting standard aerospace hardware, fasteners, bushings, washers
Experience working in a cross-functional team responsible for selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and developing the design
Excellent attention to detail and task ownership
Experience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
