About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support
  • Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures
  • Based upon your desired career path, your projects may include aspects of applied systems engineering including system definition, systems test, system integration, system safety, operations and system verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical systems
  • Decompose internal customer requirements and requests into test system requirements specifications
  • Develop & manage interfaces through requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and drawings
  • Lead and present at major gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on system overall technical readiness and status of Systems Engineering deliverables
  • Own the verification and validation planning, traceability and completion through test plan creation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field
  • Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2026
  • Experience with Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering on complex systems
  • Breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks and concisely communicating project status
  • Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience that demonstrates development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction
