About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support
  • Work with others to establish and improve processes and procedures
  • Projects may include aspects of applied systems engineering such as system definition, systems test, system integration, and system safety
  • Decompose internal customer requirements into test system requirements specifications
  • Develop and manage interfaces through requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and drawings
  • Lead and present at major gated reviews on system technical readiness and status of Systems Engineering deliverables
  • Own the verification and validation planning, traceability and completion through test plan creation and completion of Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An active Top Secret (preferrable) or Secret (acceptable) clearance is required for this role
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field
  • Experience with Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering experience on complex systems
  • Ability to break down complex problems into traceable tasks
  • Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience demonstrating development of technical skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.
