Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
Develop flight software and tools for various spaceflight systems
Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems
Responsible for requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of various software components and tools critical for mission success

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related subject area
8+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python
5+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components
Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols
Experience working with real-time systems and developing software that interfaced directly with hardware and programmable logic
M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field preferred
Experience with safety-critical software development in aerospace, automotive or other industries preferred
Working knowledge of control systems preferred
