Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end design of mechanical structures for various payload and cargo systems
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for cargo customers, translating their needs into actionable design requirements
Perform detailed structural analysis (FEA) and create engineering drawings and specifications
Collaborate with manufacturing, integration, and test teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
Direct experience with the design of payload integration systems or similar structures
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a customer-facing role
Proficiency in CAD and FEA software (CREO desired)
TS/SCI Clearance or ability to attain TS/SCI
