About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the successful development of avionics components for Lunar Vehicles
- Work with a team of engineers to define, test, and certify avionics hardware
- Engage in hardware build, integration, and test of Engineering Development Unit (EDU) and flight hardware
- Develop product requirements, define interfaces, and support hardware build
- Implement verification and qualification strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop mitigation plans for hardware failures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or other related field
- Avionics hardware build and test experience
- Complex hardware design experience in product design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Knowledge of / experience in requirements development and requirements-based verification
- Familiarity with integrated systems verification, including developing hardware verification test plans and verification test reports for certification / qualification
- Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related fields is preferred
- 6+ years of proven track record in design, development, or test of space industry avionics components and systems is preferred
- Experience developing digital, analog, and / or mixed-signal circuit board designs for avionics systems
- Experience in circuit analysis and simulation, such as worst-case circuit analysis, signal integrity analysis, and logic or P-Spice simulation is preferred
- Experience with MIL-STD/DO-160/SMC-S-016 environmental qualification testing of avionics hardware is preferred
