About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the design and development of API infrastructure and backend services that power our platform ecosystem
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and C++
Build backend systems and microservices under guidance from senior engineers
Implement API design patterns, versioning strategies, and documentation to support platform usability
Participate in monitoring and observability practices to maintain system reliability
Assist with technical design reviews and learn standards for backend systems
Support continuous improvement of platform infrastructure and deployment pipelines
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and improve code quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2-4 years of experience developing software systems in production environments
Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or Go
Familiarity with database design and data persistence patterns
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
Understanding of API design and RESTful service principles
Experience building or working with microservices and backend systems (preferred)
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker (preferred)
Experience with API development and integration (preferred)
Knowledge of caching strategies and performance optimization (preferred)
Experience working in Agile development environments (preferred)
Contributions to open-source projects related to backend or API development (preferred)
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and exposure to AI/ML frameworks (preferred)
Experience using generative AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality (preferred)
Familiarity with LLMs and how they can be integrated into backend systems (preferred).
