About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop API infrastructure and backend services that power our platform ecosystem
Lead development of scalable microservices and backend systems that support organizational growth
Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and C++
Architect and implement resilient backend services with robust API design patterns, versioning strategies, and documentation
Implement monitoring and observability practices to maintain system uptime and reliability
Lead technical design reviews for backend systems, building repeatable processes and standards
Support continuous improvement of platform infrastructure and deployment pipelines
Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver platform solutions that enable organizational success

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5-7 years of experience designing and deploying software systems in production environments
Demonstrated background in architecting modern backend systems and microservices
Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, or Go
Solid understanding of database design, caching strategies, and data persistence patterns
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
