About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate FPGA requirements in coordination with systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering and subsystem owners
  • Design, write HDL code, verify and document complex low-level modules
  • Participate reviews of FPGA Design and Verification Artifacts
  • 10% travel to other Blue Origin locations for various meetings, or large-scale company events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, electrical, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of FPGA/ASIC design and verification work experience
  • Experience writing or using FPGA level requirements
  • Experience in writing RTL using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL (SystemVerilog desired)
  • Experience with Clock Domain Crossing techniques and analysis
  • Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, and Microchip Libero
  • Experience with FPGA Timing Constraint definition, STA, and timing closure
  • Experience with QuestaSim or equivalent simulator
  • Experience testing and debugging failures in simulation to root cause problems
  • Experience using FPGA Design and Verification tools in a Linux environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships
