About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop long-term software strategies and roadmaps for the TeraWave constellation
Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team responsible for flight and terminal software
Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded software for optical and RF communications between satellites and satellites and the ground
Ensure software reliability and compliance with space-grade standards by collaborating with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience software development, with at least 8 years leading technical teams
6+ years of experience in space flight avionics or software development
Proven success bringing complex connected software from prototype to deployment in production
Master’s degree in software or electrical engineering, or related field (preferred)
Experience with satellite communications and bus software (preferred)
Experience with software and data security (preferred)
