About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct trade studies and estimates in support of proposals for external facing customer technical projects
Work closely with the engineering design team, mission management, launch operations, and launch systems groups
Act as a point of contact between the NG engineering team and mission integration for various launch contracts
Interface with payload customers to evaluate mission unique requirements and ensure compliance
Integration of customer requirements and development of mission Interface Control Documents
Ensure payload system requirement validation and implementation
Manage requests from multiple complex projects and teams
Ensure regulatory requirements, such as FAA/ITAR/Range, have been met
Lead spacecraft integration and launch contracts ensuring Blue Origin commitments are met on time, on budget, and with success
Develop resource-loaded mission Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate progress

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in an aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering-related field
8+ years of complex product development experience
5+ years managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced, aerospace projects
10+ years industry experience in launch system or satellite operations
Active Top Secret clearance & SCI Eligibility, or ability to obtain final clearances
Ability to travel within U.S. and abroad
Collaborative, constructive, and concise communicator
