About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement RF, analog, digital, and power circuits to be used in an active phased array.
- Developing efficient power management solutions, such as DC/DC converters for high-performance, compact, or harsh environments
- Work with systems engineering to define and decompose requirements into functional designs
- Identification, consideration, and selection of suitable parts to be used on mixed-signal boards to conduct schematic capture
- Perform circuit simulations analyses such as transient analyses and signal and power integrity
- Lead system level analyses such as worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) and failure modes, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA)
- Work closely with layout engineers by providing guidance for matching and high-speed routings
- Provide support for board bring up, test, and debugging
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in RF, DC power and mixed signal design.
- Experience with high frequency signals and high frequency circuit designs
- In-depth knowledge on component selection
- Experience with analyses such as simulation for noise analysis, AC, DC, and transient analysis, monte-carlo, and signal and power integrity
- Experience with conducting worst case circuit analyses and failure modes, effects, and criticality analyses
- Experience with design, simulation, and verification tools, such as HSpice, HyperLynx
- Behavioral modeling of analog and digital circuits
- Experience with Altium/Cadence OrCAD / Allegro (or similar tools) for schematic capture
- Experience in bench level testing with strong debugging and analytical skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
