About the role
- Ownership of thermal subsystem artifacts such as the master equipment list, and other documents
- Ensuring alignment and synchronization of thermal subsystem design data with interfacing subsystems such as Electrical Power, Liquids, Gas and GNC.
- Documenting and automating processes for updating interface control data across subsystems
- Reviewing system level CONOPS information and distilling into useable datasets for consumption by the thermal analysis team
- Collecting and documenting hardware temperature limits for hardware across the vehicle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines.
- Demonstrated understanding of aerospace design, development and verification processes
- Understanding of spacecraft thermal design concepts and thermal control techniques
- 2 years of experience in relevant industry role(s)
- Demonstrated ability to drive solutions and overcome challenges and obstacles during execution of tasks.
- Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines (preferred).
- 4 years of experience in relevant industry role(s) (preferred).
- High level communication and organizational skills (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience working interface control (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with spacecraft thermal control hardware design and development (preferred).
