About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ownership of thermal subsystem artifacts such as the master equipment list, and other documents
  • Ensuring alignment and synchronization of thermal subsystem design data with interfacing subsystems such as Electrical Power, Liquids, Gas and GNC.
  • Documenting and automating processes for updating interface control data across subsystems
  • Reviewing system level CONOPS information and distilling into useable datasets for consumption by the thermal analysis team
  • Collecting and documenting hardware temperature limits for hardware across the vehicle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines.
  • Demonstrated understanding of aerospace design, development and verification processes
  • Understanding of spacecraft thermal design concepts and thermal control techniques
  • 2 years of experience in relevant industry role(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive solutions and overcome challenges and obstacles during execution of tasks.
  • Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines (preferred).
  • 4 years of experience in relevant industry role(s) (preferred).
  • High level communication and organizational skills (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience working interface control (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience with spacecraft thermal control hardware design and development (preferred).
