About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ownership of thermal subsystem artifacts such as the master equipment list, and other documents
Ensuring alignment and synchronization of thermal subsystem design data with interfacing subsystems such as Electrical Power, Liquids, Gas and GNC.
Documenting and automating processes for updating interface control data across subsystems
Reviewing system level CONOPS information and distilling into useable datasets for consumption by the thermal analysis team
Collecting and documenting hardware temperature limits for hardware across the vehicle

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines.
Demonstrated understanding of aerospace design, development and verification processes
Understanding of spacecraft thermal design concepts and thermal control techniques
2 years of experience in relevant industry role(s)
Demonstrated ability to drive solutions and overcome challenges and obstacles during execution of tasks.
Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines (preferred).
4 years of experience in relevant industry role(s) (preferred).
High level communication and organizational skills (preferred).
Demonstrated experience working interface control (preferred).
Demonstrated experience with spacecraft thermal control hardware design and development (preferred).
