About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Systems, Software, Firmware) to develop an electrical power system
Provide guidance and support for the team, in a hands on role, as they work on many power electronics projects (batteries, power converters, motor controllers, power management and distribution)
Ensure project completion is on schedule and within budget while meeting all system requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of engineering management
10+ years of recent power electronics or power systems development for hardware used in harsh or space environments
B.S. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or an appropriate engineering field
Strong understanding and experience with the product development life cycle
Desire to work hands-on, as part of a team, in both development and production phases of a product lifecycle
Experience with batteries, power electronics, or power systems
Experience with fault tolerant and high reliability systems
