About the role
- Support the development and operations of New Glenn, the heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
- Work on regulatory compliance efforts for New Glenn, its payloads, and its launch facilities
- Provide leadership in ensuring the regulatory compliance efforts are coordinated effectively
- Develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partners
- Develop, review, and manage products to support facility construction/modification and vehicle operations
- Develop the strategy associated with sophisticated products across many technical subject areas
- Communicate results in support of government requests
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering/science or an equivalent technical management field
- Proven experience with large-scale, development aerospace program
- Meaningful and demonstrable experience with USSF, FAA, and other US government requirements for launch vehicles, payloads, and launch sites
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Use excellent judgment and be comfortable making high-quality and high-velocity decisions
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong track record of product ownership
- Ability to earn trust and develop positive and inclusive relationships
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
